hi, i ordered a dm800se+wifi clone for my friend. i got it from tony in china. i set it up at my house using this image Dream-Elite-Sunray sr4-Combo-3-0-v010r6-sim2-SSL-84b-by sat4fun.nfi
i used the wifi hotspot on my android phone as i don't have broadband at home to check if it was connecting to the internet and all was working ok. i then took it to my friends house and plugged it in and it boots up ok. i then connect to his v**ginmedia hub which has a 60mb connection and all is ok until i decided to reboot the box.
it rebooted but not fully, the progress bar only went halfway and hung there. i unplugged it and tried a few more times but it would still only go halfway. i said i would take back home and test it as he was going away for 2 weeks.
when i got it home i plugged it in and it turned on straight away and for the past two weeks i have turned it on and off with no problems. my friend has now returned home so i took the box back to his and plugged it in and it booted straight up. i then connected to his wifi and it connected then i rebooted and the same problem happened, it got stuck on the boot screen.
i then asked my friend to turn off his wifi hub/router and restarted the dm800se and it booted up straight away. i tried this twice more and it was the same both times. when the box is connected to his wifi it will not reboot but if i turn the hub/router off the dm800se boots up, then i turn the hub back on, then connect to the hub, then it won't reboot.
when it was at my house and connected to my wifi hotspot on my phone it would reboot everytime.
it seems his wifi connection is preventing the dm800se from booting at startup. does anyone have a solution for this or know why it's happening
