Remote 2 - 5200 super

Anyone know what the remote 2 does in the menu???

I have two recivers the same and currently cover one IR reciever to be able to use the other , can I use this setting to switch between 2 remotes?????

as far as I understand it the remote type is paired to the box so if both boxes need type 2 thats it you cant change any settings for it.and if you change the type in the menu it wont work.

There were 2 different remotes, if you select remote type 2 when it is remote type 1 you need you only get limited functions.
They ar eboth the same IR.
