Lost all Satellites -- Please Help

    Hi,

i factory reset my tm5200d super box by accident.
i've now lost all the satellites.

it was on 28.2e when i reset it, so that's the only satellite i was able to scan and have now.

how do i get the others back?

u went to the menu, motorised, when i try to select a satellite, the only option is 28.2e

    please help.
    thanks

Put your channel list back on.

You should always back up your channel list.

if you have factory reset you might have to put your longditude and latitude back in so the motor knows where to go,then put your channel list back in as manic says

anyone got a channel list they can share?

                using diseqc.

will try the lat and long and see if i can get somewhere.

go to menu>system settings>factory reset>enter pin (or 2011)>restore default channels that should get you a channel list to start off.

as you can get 28.2E put active channel in,ok go to installation>motorised settings> put usals on the diseqc motor line and enter your long/lat on the position setting line.exit to full screen if no signal you must then go back into motorised settings and alter the longitude only by 0.5 degrees east or west until you have a signal then do 0.2 degree changes til you get max signal, you must exit to full screen to check each change.once this is done go to satellite setup enable the sats you want and scan either 1 at a time or choose the sats you want on the auto navigation menu, usals will find them automatically

ok, i've done that, now i got all the satellites back. but can't get to them because the motor doesn't know how.

                    so what's best now?

set the motor to 1.0w and use USALS to find and scan all the satellites?

yes but you may have to re-align your dish.put your location longitude & latitude into your box then send it to 1W on BBC world 11.862 H 28000.if no signal then you will have go outside and move the whole motor/dish assembly slowly left/right to get max signal your elevation setting may or may not also need adjusting.you can also do this on 28east on a channel you will recognise.ensure you have the correct latitude set the same on both the motor and stb these will not need moving once set.
once you are correctly tuned to your target sat and tightened everything back up.if your dish is central on the motor spigot ok and the motor mounting pole is 100% plumb with usals you will find all the other sats automatically.
I"v sent a guide read the bit on usals it may help.
