    TM 6900hd super freezing

Tried every patch now on 744 but still same problem. Will work fine for for a few hours then comes up Scrambled. All loged in to server OK etc. Only way is to switch off then back on. All ok again for a few hours then off it pos again, Scrambled. Seems mainly discovery chnls. I am subscribed to 2 servers in effort to stop it but no. Any good ideas
Or better still if some one had same prob but sorted it

when you load patch do you do any factory resets
the way they advice to load patch is
    1.backup channel list
    2.factory reset
    3.load tm original firware
    4.factory reset
    5.load latest patch.
    6.factory reset.
7.now you could load latest addon but if your sure you have the latest loaded before there is no need.
8.load back your channel list and scan all sats in use.

this proces should help if not leave feedback in Download center
and most stb's will have some freezin or glitching at times if you are not happy you will have to go back to official providers.

      Hi thanks for reply.
Thats different to how I di it.
      I load the patch
      Factory Reset
unplug for 10 secs then repower up
      load satelite I use
      blind search

Never saved a Chnl list as I thought when I did blind search it just replaced it
Also I have been using DHCP for IP
Since been told to only use static IP adress

Lots to think about. Lots to learn

yep static ip is better than dynamic m8,dynamic can cause major probs if you do the unholy .all routers should be set on static but who am i to say this just giving my pennies worth of advise.regards

Since going to Static IP and also reducing Chnl list it has been 100% better. Its the silly things that cause these problems but thanks to forums like this and the people who take the trouble to come up with answers all can be sorted
              Thanks Guys

If you have two servers with the same package the tm's get kind of confused and the filter systems can't realy be set up
so you might loose connection quiker.Even when the server menu says you have connection.

upload your cs info on usb stick or drive and then delete one in the server menu completly then if one of the servers is down (some of them are more down then running )upload the two back on your tm and delete the other completly again ,by pressing the yellow button while on the server you don't want at that time.i can explain in more detail if you don't understand what i mean.
