Why TM800 more expensive than DS800?

    Why TM800 more expensive than DS800?

    Both are HD & Linux E2, is it because TM is original and DM is clone?

      Yes, you will find an original DM800HD is around 360 quid. The clone DM800HD is much cheaper 125 quid or less delivered from China.

      TM800HD is not a clone, but it uses a NXP chipset with lots of issues, software support is very poor with lots of major features not working correctly...PVR recording and playback to internal SATA disc does not work properly. media player does not work properly etc etc... This recievr has know been out for over a year and still does not work properly. There are no development teams working on this reciever other than the very poor UR TEAM.

      So a DM800HD clone is a better pirchase, no software issues all PVR features working correctly. Much more choice of quality software images from good development teams like DreamElite, Nabilosat, EDG Nemesis, Gemini/IHAD, OOzoon, NewNigma, PeterPan..
