Technomate tm 3000d help

sorry if this question has been asked before but i am newbie in this forum and satellite update my question is as you all already know that the technomate tm 3000d does the have USB connection so i was wondering if it possible to this cable to upgrade the reciever. the cable is " USB to 9 & 25 Pin adapter " and is advertise at USB to 9 & 25 Pin RS232 Cables USBNow.co.uk

any help will be greatly appricated

read the thread by"slapstick" technomate tm latest patch....if possible use a computer with an rs232 com port for connection with your box via a NULL modem cable,usb converters can be difficult.
