Sky Tv Link and Technomate 500

    Hi All,

Need some help. I have a Technomate 500 box in the living room and have wanted to connect this to my tv in the bedroom. I initially tried an av sender but found that i was getting too much inetrferance (tried differant settings but nothing worked). In the end I resorted to using a co axel cable and running it from RF out on the back of the box, picture is perfect but I can't control the box from the bedroom. I bought a sky tv link which i thought would do the job but didn't realise that the link requires a power output from the box itself as it does not have a external power source. Trouble is i cant work out how to change the Rf settings on the box to allow me to be able to use the remote from the bedroom. Any ideas would be helpful

Hi bought the omnilink and tried it on the weekend. Still no joy. Can the setup work without a sky box? or does there have to be a sky box connected as well?
I don't have a sky box connected just the technomate.

Sorry to hijack your thread but I have just purchased one of these omnilink thingmy jigs. All working except the picture at the other end is not as good as it was before I installed said thingmy jig. Any ideas on how to improve the picture quality?
