Ive sent the usals to 5w just to see if i could find channels i havnt got ladder yet to check motor pos,got channels

and a few more do you think this the right sat?

Hmm strange i seem to be picking up the wrong sats compared to what the box is saying,doing my head in this,im getting a load of chans from 13e i wonder what they are and i get a load on 19e they are all wrong obviously.have to start from scratch again but when i was doing that i couldnt find thor at all.would the sat list thats already on the tm600 be wrong?i thought if i highlighted a sat and was getting a signal from that it had to be on that sat?

just start from scratch mate its the only way,delete all the channels and start again,if you set up on 5West as per my last post you can confirm your on the right sat by the channels you receive if on 11.591 you have not got the french channels "france 2,3 or 5 you are on the wrong sat.just picking a sat from the sat list wont work if the initial install is not right.make sure you put the correct latitude on the motor bracket and in the STB I"d say 51.6 north for swansea.and put your longitude in the STB at 4.0 West.the latitude will not need altering again,but once you have setup properly you can fine tune the longitude setting in the box by altering it 0.2 degrees at a time E/W to get maximum signal.You should have no problem finding 1W so if you cant something is badly amiss.

Thanks mate ill do it when i get the ladders.is nova sports only on 13e? as on my alledged 13e it has nova sports.yes ur right im 51.6n 3.974w

There is a few Nova sports,but the greek and cypriot one is 13e yeah bud

so that one is ok then, im picking that up when i send motor to 0 degrees so it must be out a bit

a bit of progress,started again todaystill couldnt find thor tho but what ive done is sent motor to 28e then moved dish with sat meter on until i had signal then at last i tuned into all the channels i couldnt find before,then i sent to 13e and tuned that in and then 19e and 16e.im happy with those as everything i need is on those.A big thanks for youre advise guys.
ps are there any channels i can watch prem football these days with softkeys or is it all now c/s?

Plenty of footy on 13 mate but u need a card or a ____

I can still get most channels on 7 west with the exception of city 7, and a few arab ones all mbc present and correct
