Technomate TM-500 Super - All Premium Channels

I'm new to this, so let me know what I am allowed to discuss and what not. Recently bought a Technomate TM-500 Super, pre-configured and it has all premium channels. Now the guy who sold me this said he has put an expiry date on the box which allows streaming of the channels for 12months, and then I have to go back and extend the date to another 12months. I obviously have to pay to to get the box configured again in order to continue watching the channels. I suppose this is how he conducts his business. He also explained that even if I do a factory reset this will not remove the expiry date since he has put a password on the box itself

Anyway, my question is this. Is it possible to change this password in order to remove this expiry date and therefore continue watching all the channels without going back to him?

Also I don't think this box is set up to allow card sharing because I couldn't see any card instead in the box. Any info on this will be greatly appreciated?

You can change the P/\W if you no it mate other than that you need to start again from the beginning unless theres some S/W that retrives it and welcome to the forum enjoy your stay..............

Don't touch it till your line has expired and no anything you change in the box wont extend your sub it will cut off at the server his end. But if you go messing in there you may lose what you already have and may not find sympathetic support from the seller after that. So leave well alone and happy viewing!

Also after your sub ends I would definatly not renew it as this dealer has you over a barrel. I would re=flash it with a new image and get your cline from else where
