    TM 6902 Super

    Hi Guys

I have just finished installing my 1.0m motorised dish set up with TM 6902 Super, strange things are happening though which I have no idea whether they are correct or not.

I have supposedly aligned it to 1.0W Thor 2/3, I get no q or s levels on the setup menu, but on normal TV I get approx 70% and sound with pictures. Is that correct?

I'm not sure which satellites I would receive, but the ones I am receiving are 5.0W atlantic bird 3(unable to go any further west due to obstacles), 9.0E eurobird 9, 10.0E eutelsat W1, 13.0E hotbird, 16.0E eutelsat W2(s98 q63), 23.5E astra 1D3A, 28.2E astra2/eurobird. None in between these satellites and certainly no more further east I go.

Any ideas where I may have gone wrong?

    Any help appreciated.

not sure what you mean by "normal tv" try this guide for standard TMs(the usals bit). name the channels you are getting and what sats you think they are on + the TPs if you can

Thanks for your reply dick b.

What I mean by normal tv when a channel is on the tv there is a circular meter which shows up green or red if there is no levels.

I will have another look at the guide you attched.

I have been tinkering with the tp's on 1.0W Thor 2/3 after changing the tp to 10.747 (H)/25.000 and voila there is s and q levels. I'm assuming the tp's on each Satellite will need changing to find the correct s & Q levels.

I will post up what channels I am receiving along with tp's but kids are driving me potty to want to watch the freeview part of TM.

      Much appreciated for your help.

There is one other thing, I also received a DB4 card and just wondered how I used it and more importantly where will I find the channels/sat for this card.

      TIA

        Update

I now have all sat feeds and found the DB4 channels. I'm happy for now

Just need to keep reading up on other things now

I have been fa**ying around all day today trying to work out how to set up the softc*ms, but with no luck. Do I need to be connected to the t'internet for these to work or am I just being a fool

I applied the patch and addon and found the latest file. applied said file to TM and still no joy. Perhaps I am expecting too much out of this.

If anyone would like to help me out I am all ears.

          TIA.

BTW this is a great site for info, it's just I cannot find it

canaal digitaal .nl will not work on 6902 or any 02 series because thepatch for them was around before the 02 series where released all you will get is whats left on hellassat at 39east or bulsat and a few german/austrian channels on 19.2
and a few on 13east and a few others you don't need internet conected and you load softcam the same as patches
make sure that in the option menu sssp and auto update is off
give the softcam some time to kick in the first time maybe test on 19.2 east on some of the orf channels

Looks like I should have done some more research before purchasing this giant door stop

I will look into this a little more during the week.

Just one more question, is hellasat 39.0e the same as Bulsat?

              Thanks for your help.

Hi guys, I have been trawling through this great site now for nearly a week and am no further forward in what I am trying to accomplish (thats if I can accomplish)

I have not started a new thread as this is still ongoing. I am at the next stage but am unsure how to set up the unknown bit connecting to the t'internet. I have hardwired box to router, TM has been given a static IP by router and shows up on Lan page. This is where I have been unable to work out next stage. I have entered various info into a certain menu and TM fails to connect. Now am I being thick or do free services mean free or do they need paying for.

I hope I have not contradicted the rules if I have please remove.

And any help is really appreciated.

free servers usualy don't last or are overloaded if you want a link to payservers you can pm me and just to show you how to enter a c/n line works like this
                    example c-line C: www.c-line.no-ip 22000 FOX1234 test2 no

break the c-line up in 4 pieces at the spaces between the wurds and numbers
do not put this in the tm because it will not get connected
                    allways miss this > C: > no
example, they like(goto your server menu press 8281 while watching a channel)

                    Protocol CCCAM

                    Timeout: 3Sec

                    3) ID: FOX1234

                    4) Password: test2

                    1) Address: www.c-line.no-ip

                    2) PORT: 22000

                    hope this helps

Hi guys I am going to keep this thread rolling.

I have been looking into educational side of cs but I seem to be still failing when it comes to entering c-lines.

I have been trying the usb list onto a usb and loading as per guide, but it will not update the menu.

Am I doing something stupid or is it more to do with this usb list will not work on these models.

All help very much appreciated and keep up the good work.

try entering the c-line manualy first as per example
                        c-line C: www.c-line.no-ip 22000 FOX1234 test2 no

break the c-line up in 4 pieces at the spaces between the wurds and numbers
do not put this in the tm because it will not get connected
                        allways miss this > C: > no
example, they like(goto your server menu press 8281 while watching a channel)

                        Protocol CCCAM

                        Timeout: 3Sec

                        3) ID: FOX1234

                        4) Password: test2

                        1) Address: www.c-line.no-ip

                        2) PORT: 22000

once you have the hang of entering it manualy you will understand better how to put it in the usb file

when in the 8281 menu if you press the sat button this will upload the cs.file to your usb device try using this file if you want to edit on your pc.

At last I managed to enter the info on an educational test line and found that It was not me but the router needed rebooting to allow upnp to work.

I will definately look at your suggestion for editing on the PC.

Thanks for your help so far thijs.
