how do you play hd recordings on pc

    how do you play hd recordings on pc

    have a recording on my usb drive and tried to watch on laptop, no joy

    tried using vlc player and this just crashes

    and gom player but i only get audio

    any help would be appreciated

    uu might have a problem with your codec , install this Free-Codecs.com : Download FFDShow MPEG-4 Video Decoder 2011-08-25, FFDShow MPEG-4 Video Decoder 2011-07-25 and FFDShow MPEG-4 Video Decoder 2011-05-12 SSE : FFDSHOW is a DirectShow decoding filter

      you need a media player that can play .trp files
      the "finalmediaplayer" can just google for it usualy free

        thanks fellas. ithink i will try the klite codec pack which gas all the codec files above and media player cllassic

          GOM does play them, so I suspect you have a codec problem. The KLite pack should sort it.
