TM-5402 hd internet streaming

Hi trying to set up my tm-5402 HD to try internet streaming put the phantom patch with streaming into TM made folder with STB Daemon 3.03 but when I try to open nothing opens downloaded with firefox.Does anybody have a complete guide to set up to internet things I have downloaded I can not get to work what am I doing wrong?

where did you get the patch from i got mine from the Download center and got it running fine.
In the usb menu you will have to create a new folder with your
pc's ip adress in the file manger menu
and with the stb daemon you browse th file you want to stream
and when you have this done you press the media button while watching a channel and you okay on your pc's ip adress and the folder you selected with the daemon will be there.

Still can't get it to work downloaded new file set up ip address in box open Daemon 3.03 pc security asks if I want to run select yes allows to browes but cannot select. try again and Daemon 3.03will not open.Have changed network media settings to allow share.Also TM does not store ip address have to put in every time I try only thig I can't find as instructions is press inter where is it?
Anyone any ideas before it goes in the bin

when you are in the usb file manager menu and you press the create button i think yellow put in your pc ip adress there and okay on it now it's should say connecting to server if it's working correctly and you have your pc running at the same time.once it gets connected it will show the files it could stream ,then go back to watching a channel and press the media button and okay on your pc's ip adress and the files from the folder that you setup on your pc with the daemon will come up.
Did you actually setup the deamon file to run?
If it still does'nt work for you i could do a step by step guide later when i have time .Are you sure you have your pc's ip adress?tell me the method you got it?

Right got comms between pc and tm working when I go to run STB Daemon security says virus got download from download center.Is this just a warning should I allow to run.

This does not work for me decided to let it run got comms with tm&pc (got ip from network properties) connects but there are no media files on list even when I have film running on pc and the film is in the network icon as well try again and STB Daemon asks to run select run now there is nothing no folder or browse looked at the stb properties and it is for xp i am running vista any ideas

when you click on the deamon and browse to your movie folder do to click on the ok on the deamon program.
And what kind of files are you movie files.mine would be mostly avi files and i have no problems streaming them.

Just wasted another 4hrs of my life can not get it to work should i be putting something in the other files that came with the download ie config data shared etc

i never used them but you could try putting a movie in them
is your u-tube working in the entertainment menu on the tm?

and when you turn on your tm and you press the media button
does it show a menu with when prees blue button connect or yellow disconnect
1.turn on pc
2.find pc. ip adress (cmd >ipconfig)
3.click on stbDeamon
4.browse on the Deamon app to folder you want to stream and click on ok
5.turn on your tm
6.press media button on your tm remote
7.press the blue button and type in ip adress found in step 2
if adress looks like 1.1.20.119 type in as 001.001.020.119
8.when ip adress entert press ok wait for tm to connect to pc(server)
9.when connection is there the folder should be there
press ok on folder you want to play on your tm.
this works perfect for me

Thanks yes got all that get connection but when the tm media page is on screen there is nothing in it

what kind of files are you trying to stream
if you put them on a usb stick and plug into your tm does it play them then in your tm ?

Still no luck.Put file on usb (avi movie) plays through TM start sat deamon browse in documents does not see file select documents nothing in media file select video in sat deamon nothing in media file use same mem/stick in pc select on sat deamon nothing what a waste of time changed network settings etc. still nothing then after I try to run sat deamon again nothing browse will not open begining to wish I had never bought this.

do you have a usb device connected to the tm when you are trying to stream?
you could always ring technomate and see if they have a solution to your streaming
they are very helpfull when you ring them.
