yeah once you have like in the 1st thumbnail just press scan and the channels should arrive at the end of your list.

PS I"v had another look at the TP you quoted 12.842 and its an invalid one so there is something wrong with your setup somewhere.
go to 39E and scan 12.524 H 30000 and see if you get a channel called"the voice" its FTA and if you cant get that some thing is very wrong.nova,diema,diema2,discovery and one or two others are also on that TP opening with s/cam.are all your other sats ok?if not I"d start from scratch with a factory reset and re enter lat/long etc and do a re-align.What patch are you running?

Hi Dick b right i've done a factory reset and started a fresh ive now found the voice on 12.524 and now ive even got novasport but it would only find them if i put the DISQqC to 1.2 and not usals the patch i've got is Jan 2011 which i think is the most up todate one do you think there anything wrong with my set up many thanks

Sounds as tho you might have put your long. lat. in wrong when setting up motor. Worth a check cos USALS is brilliant compared with 1.2. easy mistake to make;-))

yeah if you cant find it via usals with your correct longitude in your alignment is out.you can try and tune it by altering your longitude by 0.2 degrees at a time east/west,exit after each time and check the result. but the best way would be to re-align from scratch.if your box is NOT a "super" patch 185 is the right one.

OK ''update'' i think ive sorted it now ive download the link from you Dick b printed it off and went step by step as it says and i think am up and running now with a signal of 89% on bulsat

@ Maxbats, Glad you all up and running now, the 5402 is a brill piece of kit in my eyes!!
Caused a stir here last week, we went away for a few days and I scheduled some recordings on my 5402. My neighbour reported when we got back that he saw my motorised dish doing walkabouts--and he knew I wasnt there!! I think its clever that it moves to oblige on its own! All sat recordings fine whatever the satellite they were on.
