Hi. I have a TM5400 SUPER PLUS motorized with a 1 metre dish. In London i can get satellites from 30 WEST to 45 EAST. What. sort of help are you looking for?. Remember basically when you setup a motor make sure of the following:
    a) Check the satellites you are looking for are available for your area. This can also depend on the dish size.
    b) Check in the INSTALLATION SETUP menu that you have the correct frequencies for each satellite. This is one of the problems that people have when not finding enough channels, they are looking for frequencies which dont exist or are out of date. I would suggest that you have at least two valid frequencies for each satellites and then use the BLIND SEARCH option to find all the others.
    c) Use USALS to find the satellites. You will need to set up the first satellite yourself and then USALS will know where to go from there. Lets us know how you get on.

change your sat confiq to multisat in the setup menu ,download vannibals e1 motorised settings ,and transfer the settings into the tm with dreambox edit and thats you got all the main sats and channels with favorites in your box
or you could just press the blue button twice and download the latest motorised settings they may be out of date but at least they will be there

I did the multi set up, found a lot of channels on 19e, 13e and 16e...however how do you store the receiver, so when switching channels on different satellites the motor moves automatically on the TM500s

if setup on "USALS" once setup on target sat all other sats will be found automatically no need to save each sat. note mounting pole Must be 100% plumb and dish 100% central on the motor spigot otherwise you will not trac the arc.

Great info there mate. Appreciate it. My problem is I have only 3 satellites tuned in. Not sure how to tune in 16e and 4,8e. I just need a dummies guide on how to add them. The satellite has already been set up, alligned etc. Just the receiver needs to be set up for 16 and 4.8e. Apologies for the trouble.

AfyB, you just need to highlight the satellites that you want to use and select then move onto the next satellite etc and keep doing that until all of your required satellites are chosen.

Then select search, the TM 500s will then search for the satellite first and when it finds a strong enough signal with good signal quality, it will lock in the details and then begin to search on the transponders.

Going right back to the start though, you MUST put in your Latitude and Longitude into the motor first otherwise the automatic finding of satellites will not work. I have only just started to use this receiver as my current receiver is the Openbox S9 but the Technomate is fantastic in the way it finds the satellites, it reminds me of my first digital receiver the Strong 4375 which did a similar job and cost 6 x more.
