Help with Biss Menu

Hi,

Havin trouble updating my Biss Menu on Technomate TM 1500 2 nite,everytime i entered my 1st Sixteen digits (Code) then set the rest to 16 x Zeros when i exit and save it defaults to the original codes before i started have done this before can,t remember to to update the lines

Any ideas

Hi. To enter BISS keys you need to do the following:
a) Make sure you are on the channel you want to decrypt. ie make sure you get the SCRAMBLED message.
b) go into the BISS menu. Enter the 16 or 32 keys.
c) exit out of menu and make sure you take SAVE YES option.
d) Check if channel has decrypted.

What channel are you trying to enter the keys for?? It could be you are on the wrong channel or you have not saved the changes. Regards.

Biss keys last a long time unlike CW/DCW keys

Hi. Yeah BISS keys usually last longer. Problem is that channels like LIDER TV use BISS/RAS system and some receivers dont work even though the keys are ok. This may be the problem with 1TV GEORGIA channel. This channel is only scrambled when they show a live football match and if you are unable to unscramble it you may need a firmware upgrade for your receiver. Best test is to see if you are able to watch LIDER TV (either on HOTBIRD or EUTELSAT 36 EAST) when they show live football. If you can watch LIDER you should be able to watch 1TV GEORGIA. Regards.

Hi. Think of those poor MAN CITY fans!!!!!. Anyway just to point out that if you are able to watch LIDER TV then you should be ok with BISS keys for other channels. Regards.
