most payservers tell you everything is allright their side anyway,
but did you reboot router and tm ,if this makes no difference does the server have a thread where you could maybe pm other
costumers and see if they had the same problem.
i just see you have your broadband with sky they moniter c.s. on their broadband change your broadband supplier did you tell your payserver that you have sky broadband

      Thanks for the reply Thijs.

Rebooted both and still the same.Worried about the sky box being disconnected as well because that was fine last night and wake up and no satellite signal is being received.Give them a ring in abit.

As for telling payserver about sky broadband i didnt think there was a need to as after doing a bit of reading up i thought that it was only the payservers they could trace if they didn't set it up properly, not the ones who sub off him.

At the moment no known problems on his thread.

Only had it on for 3 days.

have no signal might just mean that the dish is moved maybe by the wind or something but you do have signal on your tm 5402?
Are the two being fed from the same dish?

Yes both are fed by the same dish and 2 sky boxes upstairs as well.2 upstairs has got signal{free to Air} and technomate has got signal.Really confusing, could sky have detected me,event though only had it on for 3 days.Surely someone else is with sky broadband and has not had this problem.

BTW.knocked sky box off as well.Still no signal.

Phoned sky but suffering technical problems.

Thanks again Thijs for your input.

i've seen a lot of post about cs and sky broadband and lots of weird things happening i'm sure that the sky piracy team could detect you as soon as you connected to the payserver depending on what way the server is running some servers have a way around it so it might be worth your while contacting your payserver.

Better late than never! sorry i dont come here much.

In the end it was water in the cables, they come over my roof so exposed a lot to the wind and rain.
