    tm5402 channel list

    hi guys

can someone please explain to me how to download channel list for 28.2 thats sorted into groups, ie sports, movies ect

i got a couple of these boxs to try as there near the same as the blade7000

im just having trouble finding where to download the channel list as on the blade its in the menu list and can be downloaded for your region in seconds

is the tm the same or do you have to load it on with usb stick

if someone could point me in the right direction please

    i would be most thankfull

you will have to use a usb stick with a .cndf file on it.
try this one Download center or this one Download center

      thanks thijs

i downloaded the second file for 28.2 its got 600 odd channels but it does not sort them in to groups on the tm

have you to sort out the groups yourself on these boxs and is this the only way to do the channels thru usb stick?

ive been using blades and my suppliers told me these are more or less the same but he can do them cheaper than the blades

the blade box can download its own channel list for your region in seconds and you can update the list when transponders move the same way

i take it the same fuction is not on the tm?

thanks for taking the time to reply

you will need the NDF edit software to sort your channel list out far easier and quicker with this program on the pc rather than using the emote to do it. Even better still if you can get hold of a blade pre-made list job done

thanks digicon you have helped me make my mind up

i will stick to the blade boxs there online menu fuction is very handy for people that are not sure about usb sticks and transfaring files

i know about the blade list and copying it for the tm i have blades here and they are a very good box for the less tech minded people

i was trying to find out if the tm had the same fuction of online channel list which you have confirmed for me it has not and for the saving over the blade its not worth the difference when you lose this fuction and the other thing thats putting me off is the group -fav button is not in a good place compared to the blade

once again thanks for the input guys
