    Technomate 6900 HDSuper pilot Problem

Hi, I first of all have to say, what a great forum, well done all.
Now, back to my problem, i have a Technomate 6900HD Super, Patched, with Magic's Patch, and using a Diablo Cam 2.3 Wi-Fi, and a 2mtr Prime Focus Dish, Invacom 0.3dB C120 flange Lnb.
The problems i am having are all of the 30000 symbol rates, on 1 degree west, are freezing, but any other symbol rate below 30000, are fine. I also have a Technomate 6800HD, and i have no problem, with those 30000 symbol rates on that Box. I have asked about this problem, on another well known forum, and, very few Technomate 6900HD Super users, has the same problem as i am having. I think its unusual, because, three of my friends have the very same problem, as i am having, with their Tech 6900 HD Supers, and each one of us, bought from different suppliers.
I also rang Technomate, and they said, to do a factory reset, and load the new software, which i have done, but still those symbol rates of 30000, are freezing, and the audio is distorted, Now personally i think it's something to do with the Pilot On/Off, on this Technomate 6900HD Super, as i can manaually turn this option On/Off on the Technomate 6800HD. but the Technomate 6900HD Super has not got this option.
Any help would be very much appreciated. With thank's.

your correct the pilot feature is automatic on the super model
and should scan all the channels for you on the correct settings
the original non superr model has problems with the 30.000 rate
and these chns have to be added in the advanced search feature
i have seen reports that the blind search gives problems and does'nt
find the correct tp frequencies so if you have scan useing the blind search
factory reset and do a normal scan i have the clarke-tech 5000
which is the same spec as the tm 6900 super and on a normal scan it
    finds all the chns

      Technomate 6900 HDSuper pilot Problem

Thank's, benny/9 for your reply, no i have not got that problem in finding those 30000 symbol rates, on the Technomate 6900HD Super it's just that the picture freezes and pixelates on 1dg West, eg: Animal Planet, ect. Now some members say on another Forum, that it's a Diablo Cam issue, i do not believe that, because the Diablo works perfect in Technomate 6800HD

I would have to agree, the diablo cam worked alot better for me with a TM6800 than it does with my new TM6900.

I also get picture freezes, also when adjusting POS (Blue button). I have to turn the receiver off and on again.

Maybe there will be a fix soon.

        Cheers.

there is a new underworld 1.61 cam file to test
and see if this clears the problem. also if you
go into the cam menu to configuration and then
[3] auto pmt and set it to [off] and see if this helps
to stop the freezing and other problems.

Hi Guys, and thank's for your reply's, yea i downloaded Underword 161, and changed different settings, on the Diablo Cam, but still this freezing presists, Now i also have the Super Dark Box HD Rev 2008, that works no problem, on those 30000 symbol rate's using the Diablo Cam 2.3 Wi-Fi. Its a bit of a "Mystery To Me" as to why those 30000 symbol rate's work on the Technomate 6800 HD, and also work's on the Dark Box HD Rev 2008, and will not work on the Technomate 6900 HD Super and on all box's, i am using the Diablo Cam.

              Hi,
Not really sure what this pilot thing does, so I apologise in advance if I have completely missed the point - but you mentioned that there was no option to turn pilot on / off with the Technomate 6900 super.
I have been editing my channel / transponder list for the 6900 super with NDFEdit and there is an option to switch 'pilot' on or off against each transponder.

the feature for the pilot must be part of the editor software your useing to sort your channels. you cant use the pilot feature on the tm 6000 super receiver. the pilot is available on the tm 6000 original receiver, i take it your useing the clarke-tech editor to sort your chns etc: i dont use a editor i find it faster to edit the chns and tp's with the receiver menu you can move chns into a good order in chn blocks of any number of chns at a time and i find this a lot quicker and easier.
