Technomate TM500

I just bought a technomate TM500 from a yard sale. The unit is working and there is an account which will expire by end of Dec. I tried to login to it through a web browser but there it asks for a username and password. I put root for username and left it blank for password but it will not let me in.
Is there a way to reset the password!

If not, what is the easiest thing to do!

Dec Image is the latest(google it). not sure about DS image some like it some don't . you need to test it yourself to see if you like it.

google chrome is shite.. internet explorer corrupts downloads? since when? I agree firefox is a better browser, but internet explorer does NOT somehow break downloads

Help with latest patch for tm 5300+

Hi all, I recently was given a technomate tm 5300+ reciever.
its working, but I was told I need to put the latest patch in, whatever that means. Can anyone tell me where I can download the patch from.
