Tm600-new digi tele

Have just been given a 18 mth old samsung digi tele,
Come to connect my tm600 via the scarts on the tele & no picture or sound !
Is it because the tm600 is a digi-analogue converter & now will not work with a digi tele ?
Any help from you guys out there much appreciated

TM600 will work with any tele.
Make sure you are connected to tv out.
