which is the best and cheapest technomate ?

hi all i have a skybox f3 at the moment and was thinking of upgrading to a technomate tm 500hd or the tm800 hd somthink just over the ?100 mark which is better out the two and fastest loading time, channel loads etc or if you can advise with somthink better for the price range.

or if the skybox f3 is best ? any help would be cool thx

the tm5302 or the tm5402 would be the cheapest non linux
the tm500super or 600 would be cheap but low on support.

I would stay clear of the 5302HD although its a new model i got one for a mate last year and had nothing but problems with it until it got sorted by a phantom patch in March also there is no channel editor for it as yet so everything has to be done via the remote control.

at only a Tenner difference the TM 5402HD would be a better option especially on here as there is a lot of users and a lot more support

have you considered the dm 800 hd clone/dvb/sunray 800 hd one off them would be a much better buy than a tm800/600
for some reason the tm non-linux boxes seem to work much better than there linux boxs a

That would either have been on a TM800HD or the new TM Twin Linux receiver, Thats the only minus point of the non linux receivers they have a poor EPG save system

Nice 7 day epg on the TM5402.
                      CI is common interface.
TM5402 has card slot and cam slot.

dm800hd just died and replaced with tm5402 hd ci +.

I prefer the dm box as the epg on tm is pants.

yes m8 but if its ?10 or ?20 you could get it to have a play and get used to how things work and then do research on a new hi-def box while you save.. regards mdt
