Upgrade 0r Not ?

I have just come back to using my satellite receiver after approx a 2 to 3 year gap. My receiver is a Technomate TM6900HD Combo. Is this worth staying with or should I consider upgrading. If so some suggestions would be grateful.

Well i think the last patch fir this came out in march of this year so your still supported with the Ethernet side of things as well as the softcam side as well, Might as well get as much use out of it as you can

hi ken01 there,s still channels open on the tm,s 39 east,19,east,4.8 east ,and a few on 13 east,its worth keeping your tm,ive got tm6800hd and still works perfect,just put the latest patch on your reciever,and then the latest softcam,if you want a cheap upgrade like ive got(openbox s10) same as skybox,orton,same firmware cost between ?54 and ?60 off fleebay and its hd, mines in the bedroom hooked up to my pc works great,the latest one is openbox s16,plenty of help with these boxes on many forums,good luck mate.

still a great box and new patches supported, some say patch 726 or 742 is best but you will not get latest open channels on 726
