Tm5402 and sound problems on RTE TWO HD

Anyone else ever get any sound issues on this channel, most of the time it's perfect but when they are broadcasting American series say like desperate housewives or Revenge, which just happens to e on now, I don't get any vocal audio, I hear all background noises, and when the ads come on all is perfect again. It's baffling to be honest, I can't get my head around it.

I don't have RTE2 but I have had this on some foreign sats channels. I think it's a soumdtrack that broadcasters can use to dub different language, while using the original background.

I expect if you press the audio button on the TM remote and pick some different audio options it will find a English soundtrack.

Audio is just above the button marked F1 at the bottom left of the controller.

Ah man, that's probably the only thing I didn't try, I even googled audio pids and everything. I guess I'll have to wait till it happens again now and see if that works. The prog that's on now is fine, but I do select the audio option and there actually is a second English option in there, so that may well be the solution. Thanks for the suggestion.

Well tried switching the audio from English to English(AC3) and that has sorted it out. fair play to you.

              Thank very much.
