Hi romstav. You have good tastes as i also have same as you but my dish is 1metre. Which motor do you have and is it working properly?? i have a TM2600 motor which travels between 45 east to 30 west. The 156 patch you have loaded does open quite a few channels spread across a number of satellites. The patch opens a variety of channels including sport, music like MTV, adult channels, children's channels .There is something for everybody. The main satellites you need are as follows:
    ASTRA 1 at 19.2 east.
    HELLASAT at 39 east
    SIRIUS at 4.8 east.

To be honest there are hundreds of channels spread over many satellites which are available free its just a question of if your motor is set up to receive the satellites. As i am also based in London please let us know if you need further advice .

    Regards

I don't think that patch 157p worked properly so it's best to stick with 156p for now.

Hi romstav. Dont use patch 157 as it does not clear the BULSAT and CAANAL DIGITAL channels etc. 156 is your best bet. Did you install the motor yourself ? I have installed dozens of motors all over London and the south east and never had hardly any problems. I find it strange to learn that so many people have problems installing a motor when it is simple and straight forward.

            Regards.

Yes it is true 157p is useless.
I am back to 156p now.
Did i install the dish by myself??? Yes i did and not once. It is not dificult at all.
Thank you Nutsandbolts for your help. I remember a couple of years ago i used to be able to watch the naughty channel...private spice for free. I do not remember on what satellite it was. I have tried to find it now and all are scrumbled. Have they improved on their decoding??? Do you know any naughty channels for free?
              Thank you

Hi. PRIVATE SPICE was available on the BULSAT package at 39 east up until a year ago. They have since changed the security from IRDETO 2 to BULCRYPT. I remember up until a couple of years ago there use to be so many channels opened on nearly all the satellites. This was because most of the security systems had been hacked and so most channels were opened to the public via patches and keys. It use to be a paradise as we were spoilt for choice. Today most channels use complicated securities like NAGRA 3, BULCRYPT, POWER VU, SECA 4 etc etc. They are proving very hard to hack and nobody really knows if they ever will be. My personal view is that it will a take special patch to break these systems as i dont think they will be able to get hold of the keys like they use to. I know for a fact that the channels for TNTSAT and CANALSAT packages on 19.2 east have been opened by the use of the Phantom patches rather than inserting keys via a softcam. In our TM5400 receivers you cannot insert keys to open these channels it has to be done via a patch. Thats why i believe that in the future hacking will involve patches rather than keys alone. By the way you will also find adult chanells on SIRIUS 4.8 east. Channels are called PB and PG( they are actually HUSTLER TV and BLUE HUSTLER, dont know why they call them PB and PG). The frequency is 12110H
s/r 27500. Also as you have a 1.2 metre dish can you tell me if you pick up the AMOS 4 west and NILESAT 7 west satellites??
                            Regards

                              Hi,
i have measured my dish and it is not 1.2
I have bought it about 3 or 4 years ago. I thought i had a 1.2m but it is 1 meter. I think i was planning to buy a 1.2 and then due to legislations i did go for 1m.
About Amos and Nilesat i cn confirm that i am able to receive them but the signal strenth is about 48%-62%.
It is watchable. When it is windy then it is breaking a bit.
To be honest with you i do not watch it often. Do you live in London?
