    tm 5200

    just wondering if anyone has a tm 5200 d usb box and how good it is, ive seen a dish and receiver for 90 quid and was trying to find out how easy it is to set up and do you need to get a card for it, any advice is much appreciated, thanks

    Its a good little box for freeview but it is lacking an Ethernet port so you are limited to loading softcam keys via the USB if you flash the box with the latest phantom patch.


    If its a motorised system you are bidding on then once setup there are still a few channels open with Softcam for how long no one knows, but they have been saying that for the last few years as well LOL.

      its not a motorized dish m8, cant you get any sly channels on it then m8 thanks

        with a subscription card yes without its a no go as i said it lacks an ethernet port and its also SD so your limited to SD channels as well.

        Your ?90 would be better spent getting another receiver, if you just want 1 single satellite 28.2? east then get a minidish complete kit of the bay and invest in either a new Openbox or the price reduced Eaglebox HD both should come to under ?90 and you have far better options as well as HD
