Hi,
I have a Technomate 6900 HD Combo and recently I have been having problems with my external hard disk I use for recording.
The hard disk is a Western Digital My Passport 500GB with USB power feed.
The problems that are coming back are:
? There are no files recorded on your device? while when I can see the file list when I plug the disk onto my laptop
When I do a disk information check, I get a ? total volume 0.00? report. ( in disk manager)
I get an awful lot of ? Please wait? ?messages when I do something related to recording, trying to view the recorded file list,?
I already reset my Technomate completely, I have tried formatting my hard disk in every possible way ( through Disk manager and through fat32 on the laptop)
and I cannot seem to get it to work.
My personal opinion is that it started after the last update. Are there other people experiencing the same problems??
What can I do? It is really annoying J
I tried two other hard disks and they also give problems, so I think I can say safely that it isn?t my WD that?s the cause.
Thanks in advance, best regards
