Technomate 6800 or darbox 2008

Hi

New to this game and have a couple of questions. Is it worth getting an HD reciever yet, i.e how many channels are currently in HD. If HD is worth it what would be the easiest / best box to go for Technomate 6800 or Darkbox HD, I would be planning on using a 1m motorised dish.

ive got a 6900 with 1mtr dish, technomates are easy maintenance to set up and keep going with patches ect...

darkbox well i dont know its hd and cheaper but ive had no experience with one,
i myself if i was in your postion would go for the tm6800/6900 as my thinking would be the support and knowledge of this box is more than the darkbox as its been around longer.

up to you they both do hd, think do you want cheaper or one thats been around tried and tested.

they'll both do the same job but i know the technomate is easy to setup and use.

theres quite a few most i dont watch but theres some good ones, premiere hd gets the most out of me, hd films and hd champs league on there..


6800 is the box as is, 6900 is same with built in freeview.
