Add an extra few quid and get yourself a VU+, you will be glad of it.

The TM-800 has very little support, I started out with a TM-800, it was good for watching TV but anything else was a no no, I was walways having to restore to factory settings.. It was a pity because its a pretty nice box.

If you want to be able to record and use plugins etc then definitely go for a better box like the VU+

yes save your money, i had an experience for a week, returned to technomate, and traded in for tm-twin-oe much better box, but can't review it yet properly as only had 3 days but no glitches/defects as yet...
