    Tm5402 hd maxx motor problem

    Hi all
I have a problem with my setup
    I've got a 5402 and a maxx motor to drive a 1.1m dish
I had this on a pole in the back garden and was working ok
Needed realigning as we had some very high winds
I had decided to move it on to the side of the house instead
my problem now is the green and red lights are on and the arm will not move
all cables are dry to the motor .etc I've tried resetting
The motor and also a reset on the tm5402 but
Struggling now to get this thing to move
And just don't know what else to try I'm very new
to the motorised setup but have installed many other fixed systems
    Any help would be appreciated
I have tried both buttons on the motor either way but it still don't move the arm

Have you tried manually moving motor/dish by pressing the buttons on motor.

How old is motor, if fairly new contact supplier.
Google maxx motors there seems to be some issues with them.

Also check that the LNB and reciever connections are put back the correct way round. !

Hi. Not familiar with MAXX motors but on TM2600 motors orange light can mean following:
                  a) Motor sensor problem.
                  b) Limits reached.
                  c) Unable to receive Diseqc commands from receiver.

When you say you have green and red lights on are they two separate lights or its green then turns red??. Do you have a booklet for motor giving details of errors??

As already mentioned check cables are connected correctly. Does motor support USALS and 1.2? Try to disable limits in motor menu and then see if it moves. Has water got into the motor?? I suspect if it does not move when you pressed the two buttons then it could be sensor problems. As its only a week old it must still be under warranty . Can the shop not test it out for you???

                  Regards
