straight out the box problem

brand new box wont boot up just says technomate on the front wont do nothing alse tried starting up holding power button in but nothing tried other buttons whilst powering up still dead apart from saying technomate on the front of the box plese help

Hi. Which model is it? Its not in STANDBY mode is it? Have you patched it with the wrong firmware? Also check manual . Have you tried to press ENTER or go into the MENU's?. You could always try to contact TM on 0208 884 0701. As its new you should be under warranty i would have thought.

Make sure you are using correct connection to tv ie hdmi or scart/rf etc.

you can try this mate but you need a null modem rs232 cable and a computer with a com port(or usb convertor),the loader is included
