s*y FTV/ FTA cards

Just a quick question about the fact that s*y is due to start issuing new cards.

Does anyone know if you have have a new card sent out to you if the old card is a lapsed subscription or if you have to pay for it?

The subscription will stop on the old card but will continue on your new card..the old card will remain opening the freesat card channels..

I was more wondering if they would send you a new card or not. I think they are required to send you one if they change the cards in less than 5 years, but does that still apply to FTV/ FTA cards?

If you are on a lapsed subscription they will not send a new card. If you have paid ?20 for a Freesat card within the last 3 years, you will get a new card, If you have paid ?150 for a Freesat system in the last 5 Years, you will get a new card. Otherwise you will need to pay again - FREESAT from Sky Terms and Conditions - FREESAT from Sky
