Im having an hell of alot of recording probs ive got a technomae 5402 with a 500gb seagate hd , when i record a program im ether getting black screen or its missing 1 hrs worth of the event has i was recording wwe raw last night for my son when he came to watch it all that was tyhere was 2hrs of recording it missed and 1hrs worth, its driving me mad when i press record i sometimes also get the timer reset itself or the recording will stop and say somthink else has started 
ive even tried timer my recording but if my planner says it ends early the timer will end even if i choose a time etc , not sure if its my EPG that is the fault has some channels dont say wots on but even still souldnt it still record and i choose when to stop ? any help would be a gd nights sleep
my firmware at the moment is phatom patch 125p , if theres a better firmware please say what you use ..
