    storing satelite positions 5400

Hi all i'm have now lost satelite positions after messing with my 5400 so not doing well.Went in to motorised setup found astra freesat so still have sky and after finding it stored position and did a chanel scan then found hotbird and did the same but when i tried to go back to astra from the list it did'nt find it again.I thought that when you found and stored say astra all the other satelites positions were preset and found themselves but this is not happening by the way i did a reset but then did restore default channels but no luck.

If using diseqc 1.2 you have to find and store each sat individually. If you are on USALS you cannot store the sat positions.but all sats will be found automatically once one is tuned in properly.
your best bet is to go into motorised settings scroll to 28.2E on the top line, make sure an active TP is in the 2nd line, drop to diseqc motor and put "usals" in there then drop to position setting>ok,drop to antenna longitude and put your location longitude in there followed by your location latitude(the same as should be on the motor).now "go to">ok.if you dont have a good strong signal you will now have to adjust your longitude position by say 0.5 degrees at a time E/W til you get one once your close change to 0.2 degree steps.just follow the on screen prompts.once satisfied exit all menus and check results.dont change the latitude setting.
