TM-6900 HD Combo Super - Software?

I have had the TM-6900 HD Combo Super reciever for a few years now and have just updated to the official software version 7.47 dated Juy 2012.

What is the benefit of patched software? Is the latest version still 6900HDSuper_722p.rar as it seems it was posted a long time ago now.

Thanks for the reply, but what is the benefit of the patched version? Is it just to enable you to enter/load keys for certain channels? Does it do anything a Cam can't do?

The advantages of the phantom patches are not just for keys but they also allow TM softcams to be used, box keys and the ability to use cccam and Newcand.

Please also remember that you need the ADDON patch as well or you will be missing certain functions what the patch cannot do on its own
