technomate tm 5300 and viaccess card

Hello all

i have got a Technomate TM 5300+ USB Super + satellite Reciever and want to use a Elite 6 channel 6 VIACCESS card, will this work in the smart card reader as the box has not got a commom interface slot or do i need a reciever thats accepts a cam and do i need both cam and card, fairly new to satelitte world, i have a 80cm dish and can recieve hotbird

Have you patched the receiver if not do so first as the patch turns the card reader to Multicrypt and it should read the card
