    factory reset tm 5402HD

Hi all, I am having problems with my box I think.
Well I would like to perform a factory reset of the box because I think there is a software glitch on it on the CS side of the box, my provider assure me about my cline and he also gave me a new one, even tried requesting a free test from another one but nothing happen, cccam connect but channels don't clear. So I tried factory reset and the only thing seems to erase are tv, radio channels and satellite references, but the server list stay there. Please is it possible to factory reset completely my box? What can I do? Is it my box past away? Still be able to watch free channels....

Another thing, could it be my internet provider? I tried a speed test and come up at 10.40Mbps, good enought?

    Thank you for your help

        Hi tempo123,

Firstly please try and refrain from mentioning anything to do with CS forum rules an all, Anyway your Download speed wont matter you can have a reliable internet speed of around 1/2 mb and still be OK its the Ping that counts here that transfers packet data successfully.

When you patch the TM5402HD you should do a factory reset before you patch it and again after you load the new patch then add your channel list and your other details as normal.

If one patch is giving you problems then try another as they are around 28 different patches available for the TM5402.

        Regards

Thank you for your reply, I know the rules and I thought I didn't go very deep on CS on my post, for me it felt just like a question of malfunctioning of a box and try to find a remedy. I apologize for this and if you think necessary remove my posts, no problem.

Hi mate, I recently had the very same problem on my Technomate 6800HD super+ (8281 server menu, not connecting new lines).
I reset all (blue button) in 8281 menu.
            Factory reset.
            Added official firmware.
            Factory reset.
            Added Patch.
Added addon (even though it did not need it)
            Put channel list back on
Added sever lines manually (ball ache)

            That was it all sorted.
