will my box (tm-5300d+) run a motor with diseqc 1.2?
as in the satellite setup page i see at the bottom it says,
diseqc 1.0
diseqc 1.1

but in motorized setting there is a line that says,
diseqc motor line that says off/1.2/usals in the drop down list?

your box will run a motor no problem either using diseqc 1.2 or (the easier) usals system also called diseqc 1.3 or "goto X" (to get round patents) try either the TM2300 or TM2600 motors both good.

diseqc 1.0 and 1.1 are for multi lnb set ups.

Hi Bill... dont worry about patents and have a look at the TM2600 motor as they are very good and easy to setup
