help with tm500 super

hi everyone

i have a tm500 super, I wanted to update some files on it via the mini web interface but the problem is it has a password on it.

Tcc will allow you to set new password whether you know old one or not. Sorry for not giving a walkthrough but I'm not a very trusting person and don't know if box is yours or one that has been acquired. I would be much more helpful if you had more posts but basic info only on this subject for a newbie

Hi I tried TCC, in config i inserted new password but when i click change is gives an error ( Socket error) and in filezilla it says connection rejected by server. pls help

Reboot box and reconnect then try password again. It took 3 or 4 attempts last time I tried it. Even then I think it had changed password even with socket error so try password again then see if you can connect using an ftp client and your new password. Filezilla will do but I prefer dcc just make sure you have the correct ip for the box and correct user name and password.
