    TM5402CIM2_patched forget lan info

    Hi Guys

    I have an issue here
I have patched my new TM5402hd-Ci_M2 with Phantompatch-TM5402HDCI -102p_11-03-2013. everything went fine and i used it for few weeks now with no issue. Now in the last few days i have 2 issues
1-I can't play videos from USB(self powered) sometimes they work sometimes they don't and the only way to try harder is to to turn the Stb off and on again. basically the box freezes.
2- My box seems to forget the Ip address and i have to re-input them again. this seems to happen when i power off the box from the back switch.

Am I right in saying that My USB loses power hence the error?

I did reset the box to factory and re-installed again correctly ( I not a newbie) and same error.
    Any help is apprechiated
    current sys info are:
    Model TM-5402 HD M2 CI super+
    S/W version : 1.02 (ma 11 2013)
    H/W version :1.00
    Boot version :6.00
    CH version :F015

Regarding the ip issue, have you dhcp usage set to on, just press the green button and that will take you directly to the menu.

Can't help you with the USB playback I'm afraid, I reverted back to original 5402 and I too was having issues with the M2 and mp4 files.

      Hi mate
      Thanks
I fixed the first issue: The USB lacks power that is why. i put a new flash and it worked flawlessly.
the second issue i somehow found it a work around. first i turn dhcp off enter the details. come out of the menu save then go back and turn dhcp on and come out of the menu without saving. it works as long as the box is not powered off from back. So far so good.

      Thanks again
