    has my dish moved?

hi there after the very windy weather at the weekend I was expecting my 90cm motorised dish to move as I know it was very open to any strong winds and yes I lost any signal, however I noticed that the cable had detached itself from the lnb so I hoped that it would just be a mater of connecting the cable. After doing so I was able to get some channel but not others,is it just a matter of re-aligning the dish or has water entered the lnb or something else?

Hi. The only way you are going to know if dish has lost its alignment is simple. Just send it to a satellite that you know was working before and make sure motor is actually moving the dish. When motor stops check if channels are working. If not working then dish needs re-aligning or LNB cable not connected properly. Are you using USALS or 1.2????

    Regards
