    External Hard Drives compatable with the TM-5402

    Newbie here,can users let me know which external HD's work pretty well with there 5402
    Dont want to buy a non compatable

    Mine has worked with everything I've thrown at it including a micro sd in usb adaptor. But I would say to stick with a desktop version as they have there own power supply as opposed to a 2.5" portable usb powered one. No point in stressing the psu if you don't have to
    TRY DROPBOX 2GB + 500mb FREE ONLINE STORAGE with public sharing and 500mb for me

        i've got a 5402 have been using a usb hard drive with no problem at all as long as its formatted to fat 32

          I think the main reason to use a powered external caddy hard drive is so the PSU is not overloaded through the USB, I believe that even technomate only suggest a 2.5" external usb powered drive anything in the 3.5" range needs external power.
