Ok, I've been having a few problems lately with these TM 500 Super, mainly all related to remote stopping working or else the box just not booting up. I've been on to technomate support a few times about it and what they have informed me is that the models which carry a serial number beginning with 1212 have a new chip in them and that any firmware prior to 13/12/2012 will give the remote control issues and also can lead to the box not booting up.
The problem that I'm having though is, when i use the firmware 13/12/2012 each time I change channel it disconnects from the server, and I have to restart the cam again, that's fine until I have to change channels again.
I found a version of firmware dated 11/12/2012, that works ok in relation to staying connected to the server, however, when I have that firmware installed, the Technomate control centre keeps telling me that either my ip address or password on the box are wrong, which they aren't, also DCC wont connect to it also.
To be honest, I fit to throw the thing out at this stage, any help or advice wound be greatly appreciated
