The User Pass will be determined by which image you put on the box itself, when i had the TM-Twin i used the 4D image which is basically OpenPLI's latest image all the cams are available for dowmload through the plugin menu

if you need to ftp into the box use VUcc/Filezilla as it will allow user/root pass/blank so you can access the file structure, regards mdt

You should google a free program called VUCC this is the frontend program for all your others that you use with an enigma2 receiver such as FTP,Telnet etc...

All you have to do once installed is open it up put your box ip address in the top followed by your username which is normally root and password leave blank if using the 4D image.

Click connect and then click the FTP button and away you go

I have realised that somewhere along the line I have installed the default image. For some reason this is a corrupted file and now I don't get any on screen prompts to take this back a stage. Is there anyway that I can reflash, the box using DCC ? if so what image should I be using and is there a quick guide knocking about for this. I always seem to do more damaging when tinkering with new STB always find though the best way to learn is by your mistake. any help on the flashing of the tm nano would be really welcome

thanks a lot digicon, have figured out where the problem was I had a couple of usb readers that wasn't formatted in the correct manner. A quick reformat and followed the guide and worked a treat.

still needing help on the following regarding the nano box. How do you get the box to recognise the motorised dish? I can get it on to various satellite using my TM500 as its slave but would prefer to run it as stand alone stb. There is a lot of settings when you enter the USALS etc I think it will be just be a simple change of one of these but unsure which to change etc. is there a guide to this out there ???

You just need to set the setting in service searching to Simple - Positioner and then enter your USALS co-ordinates and press OK exit and thats it

Digicon thanks for your help, I have sorted the box now. My main problem was that I was entering my usals wrong. I had the idea that my USALS were 2.2 west and have only just realised why the dish was missing. and I had to do manual tune for each sat previously. Yeah you guessed it should have been East. So my previous boxes were set up wrong. NOw i'm just looking for a decent channel listing, or even a channel edit program. Does AJ's list work on the nano?

If your looking for a Motorised List then have a look at Catseye Multisatellite list in the enigma2 section of the board, AJ's wont work on the nano its a completely different format
