Nothing to do with patches as i tried all of them including original one. Problems with this model have been highlighted in various forums. I have been told that TM were aware of bugs with this model which is why they quickly brought out a MK2 version which they never did on other models as far as i am aware.

The MK2 version of the 5402HD is identical in every way compared to the MK1 apart from an anti-clone chip, And that channel works perfectly fine on my MK1 version running patch 136p no problems here

No problems on my mk1 with that channel either and I'm using 117p old I know but I was testing stuff couple of weeks ago and have just realised I haven't changed it back

running phantom patch 135p at the moment will load the latest one and see what happens i'm tempted to take a hammer to it at the moment will keep you posted

Just install the firmware supplied and all your addon info will still be there. The addon is completely different to the firmware

I have always gone a little further than what Technomate recommend :

1. Factory Reset on Receiver with current patch
3. Load Original firmware from Technomate site
4. Do another Factory Reset on the orignal firmware
5. switch receiver off at the rear switch for 30 seconds then switch back on
6. Load Patched firmware then again another Factory Reset
7. switch off at rear for 30 seconds then switch on again

Now set the receiver up as normal no need for the ADDON patch as it will still be there, I always do a fresh satellite scan after upgrading firmware so as any corruption in the saved channel list cannot interfere. Just to be on the safe side.
