Is the fan running. It may be overheating and during Duran as a fail safe -
You would hear it and see it if you look through the air vents. Also check in menu> system settings> front display settings and make sure fan control is set to onComment

that message in red means that if you put box into standby the rf modulator will turn off as well so you won't be able to send a signal to a second tv if box is in standby. This only causes an issue if you have your main freeview ariel running into tm first then on to another tv so you can watch tm in another room, if this is the case you won't receive standard channels from ariel (not dish or box) when tm is in standby. The fan in your tm should run all the time. If it was working you would see it, hear it and feel th evibration if you put your hand on the box. if it's not, get in touch with technomate or box supplier and and get it sorted before box fails completelyComment

yes the fan is working so that's o.k i'v got a sky box running through the tm but leave the tm on permanantly so thats o.k.just got a bit worried when the warning sign came up, do you think if i looked inside the box i might be able to see if anything has malfunctioned, its back on at the moment but this has been going on for a few days now so wondering if its ready to take the knock or is it fixableComment

If it is on constantly it may just need to cool down a bit. To be able to leave the rf modulator working while box is in standby so that sky box will still work change the standby setting in front display settings to show clock and the red warning message will disappear and the rf out will still work when in standbyComment
