    TM2300 Signal loss through motor

    Hello Everyone,

I have a TM2300 H-h motor and I have lost 100% signal. I have bypassed the motor and have my STB connected directly to the LNB now and my signal is now normal so the problem is in the motor itself.

the motor moves correctly to which ever satellite I choose but again no signal at all. I have the same problem using my DM500 or my VU+ solo.

Has anyone got any ideas (can I open the motor up to find something obvious inside), Technomate support have been dire and do not respond to my emails.

    Cheers and Happy new Year!!!!

I had problems with this motor

Mine was with the drive motor mounting screws loose
On opening only undo the 4 outer screws, the inner screw is for the pulse counter used for position control

Happy an peaceful New Year to all

Could be a power supply issue with your receivers

Hi If as you say the motor is moving ok and finding the satellites but you are getting no signals then problem could be your LNB cable connections from motor to LNB. Also how do you know if the satellites are being found if you have no signal?? It may also be an alignment issue. This could explain why you get no signals on two different boxes.

        Happy New year.
