technomate 5402 set up help!!!!

Hi i am new to this site and im looking for some help and pointers about setting up a technomate tm 5402, i have got everything in place and all channels loaded, in my server list it says status disconnected and i am wondering if anyone knows how to get this to connect?????

i have also seen alot of post and threads about a channel list can some explain this to me as well!!
sorry if i am no allowed to ask this and if i am not allowed then please remove it.
