Hi to you all, I live in Spain and as you are aware we are due to loose the english freesat channels in the next week or two. I was advised to purchase the TM 5402 HD M2 Super box. Having purchased the box and having a dish installed for intelsat 907 27.5 w I thought it would just be a case of switching on and bingo. How wrong I was, I now understand that I need all kinds of codes etc. I have loaded what I think is the latest patch (all110) dated 24/10/13 and softcam allkeys. I am obviusly missing something as I only get no audio or video on the screen. This is all new to me but I would relly appreciate any help from any of the members who know a lot more about this subject than myself. Many thanks.

If you scanned the channels in then you will need to edit them with Clarke Tech Sudio editor as the type H.264 and Vpid and Apid are all missing on a scan, you cant edit this via the remote it has to be edited on a PC/Laptop.
To save you the trouble i have uploaded a pre-done channel list for you just upload this via USB and then enter the Key via the remote control.
To input Biss key press 8280 on remote control and choose any line you like from the 40 listed enter the key which can be found in this thread here: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ml#post2202652

Thank you very much, after days of going round in circles thanks to you I have now got the std channels but none of the HD. Do you reccommend anyway of getting the HD including itv and channel 4 etc.Comment

You could scan the HD channels in but you will have to enter the Vpid and Apid as well as the Ppid to all relevant channels just so you know some of the HD channels do not work
information for the pids can be found at any one of the usual places: Intelsat 907 at 27.5?W - LyngSat, Intelsat 907 (27.5?W) - All transmissions - frequencies - KingOfSat, FlySat Intelsat 907 @ 27.5? West

I had a quick look at the channel list in Clarke tech editor and the Apid,Vpid,Ppid are all exactly as they should be for the HD channels, if i get time later i will double check these on my setup for you.

Many thanks. I have put the apid and vpid in for the channels but still nothing. Probably down to my lack of technical knowledge that the channels are not there. Can you also confirm that the ppid is the same as the vpid (probably a strange question to ask). ThanksComment

To get the HD channels to work you will have to delete just the HD ones and then add them manually like this:
1. Goto Menu
2. Goto Edit Channels
3. Goto Add Channels
4. TP 11495 V 44100
5.Name use the remote to enter BBC1 HD
6. Channel Type = TV
7. Vpid 6601
8. Apid 6602
9. PCR Pid 6601
10. Video Type H.264
11. Audio Type Mpeg4
Press exit button to save the changes and then add Key as normal
No They dont work as there is nothing broadcast just the ID headers in the stream

Been running a TM5402HD in Spain for 2-3yrs on 28.2E. No problems with any channels after change over. Do not know about softcam channels, do not think there is a key for 28.2.Comment
