Tm5402hd hdmi port not working

Hi all. My technomate 5402hd m1 has been working perfectly for just over 6 months but last weekend i tried to use a hdmi splitter with it so i could send a picture to 2 tv's at same time but since my bright idea i have not been able to get any signal from the hdmi port on technomate box. A friend from work has checked the port and reckons it still works but it might of been disabled somehow. if this is the case is their any way i can enable it again. or have i just somehow managed to blow the port. Can only get a picture through a old scart lead at the moment.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated

You cant disable the HDMI port on this receiver as all the A/V ports are permanently on sounds like you may have fried the HDMI

Thanks for the reply. Deep down i knew that was the case but was hoping for something different. I'm Probably clutching at straws but is there any work around? or should i start looking for another box.

Its only 6 months old so is still under warranty i would contact Technomate Direct and see what they say as they by rights should fix it under warranty

I had same problem with hdmi not working if any one else has this problem
Just do a factory reset should sort it out mine did
if you have been playing with menu settings can somehow turn it off.
