Hi...
i am new to this sky business as i was on vm but where i am moving dont have vm..
my question is that what channels i am gonna get after patching the box...are they same as vm or sky digital or different ones...and also do i still have to pay or free as before after applying magic on the box...also need advice on the box..i am after technomate boxes but dont know which one is good one...

Hi mate...

The only thing you will get is the FTA channels. You can use your s*y card in a tm-sat box, But you will need to pay a sub for anything more. your only other option is c\s but we can not talk about that here.

Sorry mate Sky is not hacked so there is NO receiver out there to decrypt their channels with Keys.

Thanks for your reply...but if you cant get all the channels then what are all these patches for satellite boxes; as you can get FTA without patches...they must have some use..

the technomate patches do open some scrambled channels
on various satellites like digi-tv on thor 1w and some chns on sirius 4.83
and a few odds and sods on other sateelittes but the providers have now
started to change to more secure encryptions and there are no files for them
so most patched receivers will only get the fta chns soon untill if or when
the file guys find a fix, in the past we have had lots of channels open with patches cams and cards but it now looks like we are heading for bleak times
